Terms & Refund Policy.

Plain-language terms for buying and using dB Records apps. Refunds: 14 days, full amount, no reason needed. Last updated 21 July 2026.

1. Who we are

The store at dbapps.co is operated by dB Records sp. z o.o., ul. Belwederska 20/22, 00-762 Warszawa, Poland (NIP 5214091043, KRS 0001134383), contact: contact@dbapps.co. Checkout is handled by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd) as merchant of record: Paddle is the seller of record for the transaction, takes your payment, calculates and remits VAT, and issues the invoice or receipt. dB Records is the licensor and remains responsible for the software and your license. Paddle's buyer terms apply alongside these.

2. What you buy

You buy a license to use a dB Records application (digital content, no physical delivery). The license key is delivered electronically. It appears on your account and/or is sent to your e-mail, normally within minutes of purchase. Each license allows activation on the number of machines ("seats") stated at purchase; you can move seats between your own machines by deactivating one first.

Pre-orders: you buy the license now; the app ships on the date shown on the product page. Your key activates the app from release day.

3. License terms

The license is personal to you or your studio, non-exclusive and non-transferable (write to us for transfers; we're reasonable). You may not resell keys, share them publicly, or reverse-engineer the apps except where law permits. Apps verify licenses offline and periodically re-check revocation status online; they keep working when our server is unreachable.

4. Refund policy

14 days, full refund. Ask for a refund within 14 days of your purchase and you get your money back in full. You do not have to give a reason and you do not have to prove anything. If you want to tell us what went wrong so we can fix it, we are glad to hear it, but that is not a condition of the refund.

How to ask. Write to contact@dbapps.co or contact Paddle's buyer support. Paddle is the merchant of record, so Paddle carries out the refund to your original payment method.

Pre-orders. Before an app is released you can get a full refund at any time, however long you have been waiting.

Invoices. Your VAT invoice or receipt comes from Paddle. It is in the receipt e-mail Paddle sends after purchase, and Paddle's buyer support can reissue it.

Your statutory rights. This policy sits alongside your rights as a consumer, including the EU right of withdrawal, and takes nothing away from them. Paddle's refund policy and buyer terms apply as well.

What a refund does to your license. Refunding a purchase ends the license that came with it, and the app stops being licensed at its next check.

5. Warranty, complaints & liability

Statutory warranty for digital content (Polish Consumer Rights Act, implementing the EU Digital Content Directive) is untouched by anything above: if an app is non-conforming, we bring it into conformity, or you may demand a price reduction or withdraw from the contract. Beyond what law requires, the apps are provided "as is"; our liability is limited to the amount you paid, except where liability cannot be limited by law.

Complaints. Send complaints (reklamacja) to contact@dbapps.co. We respond within 14 days; if we don't, the complaint is deemed accepted.

6. Accounts & fair use

Keep your account credentials safe; you're responsible for actions taken with them. We may suspend accounts or revoke keys involved in fraud or key-sharing. We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on this page with a new date.

7. Law & disputes

Polish law applies, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. Disputes go to the competent Polish court; consumers may also sue and be sued in the courts of their residence. As a consumer you may also use out-of-court dispute resolution in Poland: the ADR platform run by UOKiK at polubowne.uokik.gov.pl and the permanent consumer arbitration courts at the Trade Inspection (Inspekcja Handlowa). We will tell you in each case whether we agree to a given ADR procedure.
