About dB Records
dB Records is a Warsaw production company founded by Mateusz Banasiuk and Jakub Dubik: sound engineers, producers, editors and QC engineers who record, mix and master for labels including Warner Classics and Erato. The apps in this store are the tools we built for that work.
Why we ship
The take counter exists because our own tracking days needed one number everyone in the room could read. The batch renamer exists because album masters leave this studio named to label spec: UPC, ISRC, checksums, a manifest. REM exists because classical editing lives on Source-Destination, so we wanted a DAW built around it, not adapted to it.
None of this was invented for a store. It was extracted from sessions that shipped.
