dB Meters

Meter 128 channels at once, without touching Pro Tools' CPU.

dB Meters is a standalone macOS meter bridge that reads Pro Tools' outputs over a dedicated 128-channel audio path, so metering never competes with the session for CPU or focus. Seven metering modes (True Peak, VU, PPM, RMS+Peak, LUFS, phase correlation, Multi), a Master Meter window with Integrated LUFS, LRA and True Peak to BS.1770-5 across stereo through 9.1.6 Atmos beds, and a Spectrum RTA with Z/A/C/K weighting. 14-day trial, no card.

Why it exists

Up to 128 channels.

The nearest competitor tops out around 10 channels. dB Meters reads a full Pro Tools Audio Bridge aggregate: 122 channels.

Seven metering modes.

True Peak, VU, PPM (BBC/IEC 60268-10), RMS+Peak, LUFS Momentary/Short-term, phase correlation, and Multi for several at once.

Master Meter, BS.1770-5.

Integrated LUFS, LRA and True Peak across stereo, LCR, 5.1, 5.1.2, 7.1.4 and 9.1.6 Atmos beds, with a Spectrum RTA (Z/A/C/K weighting).

A separate process.

Runs outside Pro Tools, so metering never steals focus or CPU from the session.
